Press Release Tip 68
Use multimedia that include keywords in titles
Boost your SEO by including audio, video, photos or images that have keywords in their titles. It gives your press release a little extra Google juice. For example, if were including my head shot within a press release, the title of the JPG would be “Publicity expert Joan Stewart.” (See Tips 57 through 63.)
“Sending images and videos along with your press release is a fantastic way to increase visibility because it will mean that your press release will also be indexed by media search services like Google Images,” says Peter Mathewson, a writer, editor and SEO specialist at Cision.
Opportunity #67 to write a press release: Relocations
If you’re relocating to another part of the country, or another part of town, let people know and explain why.
Next: Use hashtags and Twitter handles.
