Our new program called JUST ASK ME Mind Makeovers is the first software that uses questions, rather than statements, to help people change their lives.
You’ve heard of “affirmations”? Our program uses AFFORMATIONS, which are empowering questions that get you to change your subconscious assumptions about life (for instance, asking yourself “Why am I so rich?” forces your brain to focus on what you HAVE rather than what you LACK).
Our programmer’s spent a lot of money on the site and we need to generate some publicity.
We’ve already got some big celebrity endorsements from Jack Canfield and John Gray. We feel this would be ideal for Oprah and her magazine, and every outlet devoted to health, women, relationships and self- improvement, because it’s the first real breakthrough in how to directly re-program your subconscious mind and change your life.
What ideas do you and the Hounds have to generate publicity?
The Publicity Hound says: I suggest that Hounds who want to help first click on the “flash demo” button on the right side of the homepage, then make suggestions for a publicity campaign.

The site is very soothing and really has a inspirational feel to it. I suggest contacting http://www.HayHouse.com to see if somehow they might help promote or place your book, either through their many internet radio programs or by selling your product. It looks like a product that they might be excited about as it is much more unique than your typical motivational self help book.
Also you might consider creating an affiliate program to contact other similar resources to entice people to promote your book and then sell the product online yourself – it would probably mean more money in your pocket than selling to retail shops.
Wish you well!

Great idea Noah. Write a good press release and concentrate on alternative media outlets like Body, Mind and Spirit magazine; and Wisdom Television and Radio in Blufield, WV, which have featured both Jack Canfield and John Gray on their programming. With the right news hook and pitch you should be able to generate some excellent feature shows and articles about your product which will reach your precise target market.

What a fabulous idea! I often present on the incredible tool of asking for what you want and I love the idea of asking yourself.
For marketing, I have a few ideas. One thing I know from the media is that they won’t always take the time to watch a flash demo or CD. To get their attention I think you will need to have some printed materials that tell them who/what you are.
I also think that a great way to get your ideas out there will be through endorsements. Contacting freelance writers or experts (or athletes, life coaches) who are often quoted. I can see you being talked about in an article -“So what helped you achieve your personal best” well actually I used a program called Just Ask me. Or Bill uses an afformation program called Just Ask Me in his coaching. He finds… ”
Writers often write for a number of publications so you could end up being talked about in a few by offering one copy of the program. A great way to find these people is look through magazines you would like to be in and create a list of names. You can then search these people and find out their contact information and send them media kits!
Hope this helps a bit!

The Publicity Hound says:
–First, get rid of the flash at your website. Because flash requires complicated HTML coding in the background, it creates problems for the search engine spiders that are searching for keywords.
–Next, get rid of the instant audio which many people think is annoying. Give them the option of listening to the music.
–Then place testimonials at your website. You also need a longer explanation of how this works at the site. After reading your website copy, I was left with too many questions.
–If you are 100 percent convinced that this software is effective, invite a reporter to test it.

Thanks to everyone who wrote with your suggestions! You guys are the best. I really appreciate all your ideas and will be implementing them over the coming months. Will let you know how it all turns out.
BTW, just to give you an example of AFFORMATIONS instead of “affirmations” —
Say to yourself, “I am rich.” What does your mind say?
“Yeah, right.”
Now say to yourself, “Why am I so rich?”
Now what’s your mind focused on?
What you HAVE. Why you ARE rich.
And when your mind starts focusing on what you HAVE (vs. what you DON’T have), what do you think you’ll get? More!
Just wanted to give you a quick example. You can see more at SuccessClinic.com or JustAskMeNow.com .
Thanks again!
