Flower, the first magazine written for flower enthusiasts and novice and professional floral designers, will hit the newsstands on March 15.
The quarterly publication will feature beautiful photography and articles on topics like learning how to hand-tie a simple bouquet, pick the perfect container, or take a garden tour across the southeast. It will include an events calendar featuring lectures, flower shows, and design courses across the United States.
On March 15, Flower will debut in the southeastern market. Margot Shaw is the editor.
Each issue contains the following departments:
Mimi’s Mechanics: How-to articles for making simple and spectacular arrangements with mechanics editor Mimi Brown
Flower Shop: Resources for finding the best tools of the trade, including fabulous containers and more
Artist in Bloom: Profiles of established and up-and-coming artists and floral designers
Flower Show: Showcasing all sorts of exquisite arrangements
In the Event: Spotlighting any event involving flowers, from black-tie soirees, weddings, and theme parties, to tailgates and “teas for two.”
Not So Prim Rose: Written by columnist Rose Bush
Sounds like a great pitching opportunity for Publicity Hounds who work with or love flowers.
